Bernie John
18U AAA Head Coach
Bernie John brings 800+ professional games, 13 years of pro experience, and 10+ years of high-level coaching to the Knights 18U AAA program. A former OHL defenseman with the Kingston Frontenacs and Sudbury Wolves, John played in the IHL, UHL and CHL, won an Indianapolis Ice championship, and earned a Clark Cup with the Indiana Ice. As Head Coach and VP of Hockey Operations with the Indy Fuel, he led the team to franchise records in wins and points and its first Kelly Cup Playoff appearance. After coaching the Knights’ 16U staff last season, John now leads the 18U AAA program.
